Part of the Hipotels Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Marfil Playa is situated around 100 metres from the beach in the quiet resort of Sa Coma on the central east coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 65km north east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1990, the modern Hotel Marfil Playa has a total of 162 guest rooms which are built over 7 floors, and set amidst almost 500m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool and gymnasium along with a children's playground, tennis and squash courts and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Marfil Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
